Privacy Policy

The short version: your notes belong to you. We don't run ads, we don't sell data, and we collect the minimum needed to make the app work.
What we store and where
- Notes on your device. Notes, transcripts, and audio recordings are stored locally on your device by default (iOS app storage / your browser's local storage).
- Sync (optional). If you enable sync, your note text and metadata (not audio) are stored on our servers (Vercel), addressed by a secret sync key that only you hold. Anyone with your sync key can read those notes — treat it like a password.
- Licenses. When you buy Pro we store your license key, purchase time, and the email you used at checkout, so we can validate your license and help with support.
AI processing
- Free tier: processing happens on your device (Apple Intelligence or built-in rules) or via your browser's built-in speech recognition.
- Pro tier: audio is sent to Deepgram for transcription and transcript text is sent to Anthropic (Claude) for summarization, under their respective privacy terms. We don't use your content to train models.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Analytics & tracking
No third-party analytics, no advertising trackers, no cookies beyond what's technically required.
Deleting your data
Delete notes in-app at any time (deletions propagate through sync). To remove your sync data or license records entirely, email us and we'll wipe them.
